This 7 day private tour takes in some of Europe’s finest scenery, along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, including Galway, Achill Island, Donegal’s white sand beaches, Sliabh Liag Cliffs; the rugged coastline and stone walls of Clare Island; Giant’s causeway; and the Newgrange UNESCO world heritage site.  

Experience some of Ireland’s most popular destinations including, Galway, Sliabh Liag Cliffs, Belfast and the Giant’s causeway. 

Discover Ireland’s historical treasures and learn about the rich history from the Neolithic period to the modern age. These include a visit to Cashel, Ross Castle, Ancient Neolithic stone forts and monuments, Celtic ring forts and burial tombs.

Step 1 – Browse our website for inspiration on your trip to Ireland.

We have suggested day trips and multi-day tours throughout our website. Take a look through the options and remember – your tours are private and fully customisable!

Step 2 – Contact us with as much details as possible.

Provide details around your length of trip, the number of people and your preferences on attractions / locations / accommodations / room styles, etc. The more information you provide about yourselves and your likes / dislikes the more likely we are to design your perfect tour.

Step 3 – We revert with initial suggested itinerary.

We will now assign your private tour planner who will be your dedicated point of contact for your travels. You will receive an initial itinerary proposal. This will include our costs with full itinerary details including accommodation options and day to day sightseeing and activity options.

Step 4 – Feedback on the initial proposal.

Now is your chance to provide feedback and any requested amendments on the initial tour itinerary.

Step 5 – Deposit payment to secure your tour dates.

We finalise all initial itinerary details and request a deposit of 25% to secure your dates of touring. This allows us to proceed with your accommodation bookings if required. *Note: For day tours we request full payment up front.

Step 6 – Accommodation Confirmations!

We will get back with your confirmed accommodations for your adventure as well as details of room styles and upgrades.

Step 7 – Balance payment and condensed driver guide itinerary.

Approximately 30 days before your tour date we will request the balance payment for your tour. At this stage we will then also go through the finer details of your day to day activities using a condensed driver guide itinerary.

It’s your custome tour of Ireland so we don’t include every expereince cost in the price of the tour. We believe guests should have the freedom to pick and choose which activities they take part in. However, we do include all hiking and guided walks to hidden treasures on every tour and some adventure activities suitable for any group.

Day 1

Your private tour of Ireland continues northwards through the stunning scenery of Connemara National Park, Clifden and Westport.  

Visit the mountain town of Clifden and the famous Sky Road. Enjoy a scenic walk in Connemara National Park and explore historical gems along the journey to Westport in County Mayo. 

Activity Options – Kylemore Abbey, Sheepdog demo at Killary Fjord, Hike in Connemara National Park, The Western Greenway.

Schedule – 9.30am to 5.30pm 

Day 2

Challenge yourself with a hike, cycle a section of the Western Greenway or visit Westport house and Gardens.  

Enjoy the spectacular views of Clew Bay with its hundreds of islands before taking the road to Achill Island and Keem beach.  

Discover Achill’s natural beauty including four Blue Flag beaches, the highest sea cliffs in Ireland, iconic Keem Bay, soaring mountains, corrie lakes, secluded (and secret) beaches, inland lakes and colourful flora, all set under huge and ever-changing Atlantic skies. Many locations in Achill were used in the movie “Banshees of Inisherin”.  

Activity Options – Hiking on Croagh Patrick, Cycle the Western Greenway, Visit Westport House and Gardens, Keem Beach and Achill Island.

Day 3

Explore the inland lakes and Waterfall at Glencar on your custom tour. Glencar Waterfall is like something out of a fairytale. In a dark, intimate space with tree branches hanging overhead, glistening streams of water pour 15 metres down from moss-covered rocks into a green pool surrounded by ferns.  

It’s so beautiful that it inspired the WB Yeats poem, “The Stolen Child”.  

This is a country of castles, seaside, and Ireland’s very own Table Mountain. This is Mullaghmore in County Sligo.  

Discover Mullaghmore, jutting out of Sligo’s northern edge, close to the county’s border with Donegal, the small peninsula of Mullaghmore sits dramatically out into the North Atlantic. 

The waters here are known for some of the most sought-after waves in surfing.

Day 4

Explore southwest Donegal, along this magnificent coastal driving route are Ireland’s highest sea cliffs, Sliabh Liag. At three times the height of the Cliffs of Moher, the Sliabh Liag Cliffs offer incredible views from their peaks. There are also ancient tombs and forts in and artisan craftspeople and the excellent distillery.

Day 5

Explore Glenveagh National Park which lies in the heart of County Donegal, among the wild and rugged landscape of the Derryveagh Mountains. Its pristine habitats and protected wildlife, and its trails taking in the stunning Victorian Castle and Gardens along Lough Veagh, make Glenveagh the ideal escape for lovers of the natural world. 

The castellated mansion sits proudly by the gently lapping waters of Lough Beagh. Construction of the castle began in 1867 and was completed in 1873, making the site a Victorian-era gem. It’s played host to many famous faces down through the years, including Marilyn Monroe and John Wayne.  

Discover the Castle Gardens, which are home to an abundance of rare and exotic plant species. The best time to see them is during the summer months, when bright rhododendrons and the white-flowered Eucryphia tree are in full bloom.

Day 6

Visit the Giant’s Causeway in Antrim. The Giant’s Causeway is one of Northern Ireland’s top walking destinations. The Causeway Coast Way runs from Portstewart Strand to Ballycastle, taking in the Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge along the way. For something shorter, try the Red Trail, a 1.2–3.2km clifftop walk where the Causeway unfolds beneath you in all its rugged beauty.

Day 7

Explore the Boyne Valley in on the return journey to Dublin city. The Boyne Valley, a lush green paradise in Ireland’s Ancient East, was once the territory of Ireland’s high kings and boasts a history that dates back over 5,000 years.  

Knowth stands as one of the true marvels of the ancient world. One and a half times the size of Newgrange, it features two long internal passages and is encircled by 18 smaller satellite tombs, an awe-inspiring architectural achievement.
