Tour Information

We have a wide range of tour accommodation recommendations from farm stays to five star castles. We can reserve accommodation on your behalf or you are free to reserve your chosen accommodation. Please check our accommodation page for further details.

We stay in lively towns along the route where you will have a full choice of food and entertainment. Your guide will also be at hand to provide recommendations on the best local music or the best restaurants.

I have used a number of guides. Some great and some less than stellar. I found Boru to be excellent. Step one is communications. This is really important to me in planning. Brian was excellent. My first attempted trip had to be canceled due to a medical issue. Everything was easily rebooked by Boru. We were picked up as desired. The tours we took were well planned. I believe you will be pleased if you use Boru.

Boru Irish Adventures. I recently used Boru Irish Adventures for a private tour of some historic sites related to my family genealogy. Brian is very knowledgeable on medieval history and specifically the sites related to Brian Boru. The tour was a really good blend of off the beaten path sites and some of the more well know historical sites related to Ireland's ancient past. It was refreshing to find a guide that was well read and knowledgeable on history. If visiting ancient ruins and castles interest you then this is a great way to tour Ireland.

My husband and I just returned from holiday in Ireland. We stayed in Dublin and travelled to the South region thereafter. Boru Irish Adventures allowed us to customize our experience for two days of tours. Our first expedition was to the Wicklow Mountains from Dublin. It really is a special place. What we enjoyed about our experience was the local context and perspective. The ride over to the mountains was filled with great stories and less traveled places of interest. We spent a second day traveling South towards the Kerry region. The possibilities are endless here and Boru was great about offering alternatives. So much to see! They were great, hospitable and flexible. Had we had more time I think we would have planned a scenic bike ride. Good Luck! Having a local guide was important to us and they were over the top nice.
